2013 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Sleeper: A draft term for a NFL player that an owner believes is going to have a breakout season. These are usually players who are not rookies, but they can be. For the most part they are not well known NFL players. Usually sleepers are drafted in the middle to late rounds of a draft. From our Fantasy Football Dictionary

Sam Bradford QB PHI 27 3 Unranked
Bradford's arrow is pointing up after the Rams finally committed to getting him some pass protection and receiver help. The improvements began in 2012, while this offseason saw the big name additions of Jake Long, Jared Cook and Tavon Austin. Coaching consistency helps too. This year, for the first time since he turned pro, Bradford won't have to learn a new offens... Read More
Jay Cutler Contract Year Player QB CHI 31 7 QB - #18
I have to list Cutler as a solid-safe pick instead of a stud given his propensity to suffer sacks and ensuing injuries. If Emery's additions to the offensive line prove as they appear on paper, Cutler's sacks should decrease and his productivity should increase. He should also see full-season action. Personally, I do not think you can go wrong with Cutler throwing ... Read More
E.J. Manuel QB BUF 25 R Unranked
The E.J. Manuel era can only begin if he is able to unseat Kevin Kolb from the starter's spot. In recent years, outperforming Kolb has not been a challenge. Using anything more than a late-round pick on the former Florida State signal-caller would be a mistake. The upside is there given his big frame and pro-style experience. Kolb's propensity for injury, which has... Read More
Ryan Tannehill QB MIA 26 1 QB - #12
Update (10/21): Tannehill has preformed slightly better this season than he did last year. Through 7 games he has completed 133 passes for 1,577 yards with 9 touchdown and 7 interceptions. At this rate Tannehill's numbers will be slightly better than his rookie campaign. Fantasy owners need to remember, Tannehill is only a second year quarterback with limited t... Read More
Tyler Wilson QB --- 25 R Unranked
Terrelle Prior is penciled in as no. 2 right now, but he's on shaky ground. Though extremely mobile, he hasn't impressed anyone with his accuracy or decision-making. Wilson, on the other hand, has huge arm strength, good accuracy and reportedly made an impression on Oakland coaches with his better than expected composure. Not only could Wilson pass Pryor, he might ... Read More
