Week 15: Start 'Em
Seattle has been very patient with the 2nd year man out of Notre Dame. He has a very high upside and makes big plays, it is his consistency that has been the problem. Since Sidney Rice went down for the season 3 weeks ago, Tate has seemed to emerge as the #1 option (albeit on a weak receiving corp). This week Seattle plays Chicago, who gave up over 200 yards to Tim Tebow last week. So if you need a flex start or WR3, give Tate a look.
When the Broncos drafted Demaryius Thomas in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft, they were hoping he would take over for recently traded Brandon Marshall; but due to injuries, he only played in parts of ten games last year putting up very little numbers (22 receptions for 283 yards and 2 touchdowns). This season started off much like last, as Thomas missed the first five games of the season and played sparingly over the next six games, but something seems to have changed recently. Over the last two games Thomas has blown up, becoming Tim Tebow's favorite target. Tebow has targeted Thomas twenty times, and he has caught 11 of those passes for 222 yards and 3 touchdowns in helping Denver stage two late game comeback victories. He seems to have become Tebow's go-to guy. While catching passes from Tebow isn't like catching passes from Rogers or Brees or Brady, Thomas is still getting tons of targets and making big plays. This week the Broncos face the worst pass defense in the NFL, the New England Patriots, who are giving up 308.7 yards passing per game. If you need a start at WR or Flex, you might want to seriously consider starting Thomas.
