Week 7: Bargain Hunter
After racking up three long-distance touchdowns in the last two weeks, Josh "Flash" Gordon has exploded onto the fantasy scene (which is something fantasy owners didn't expect from anyone in Cleveland, much less a rookie who was a Supplemental Draft pick). Gordon's big-play ability makes him an intruiging prospect worth owning in any fantasy format, especially Yahoo! Salary Cap leagues as he is still a solid bargain at $8.30. With his value steadily increasing, salary cap owners need to lock Gordon down now at a low price before he is no longer a bargain.
Chandler has proven this season that he can exploit favorable matchups -- see his two-touchdown performance against New England in Week 4 -- making him a worthwhile pickup in an enticing Week 7 matchup against the Tennessee Titans (who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season).
The 6-foot-7 Iowa product is not much of a bargain in Yahoo! Salary Cap leagues at $8.49, but favorable matchup makes Chandler worth a one week pickup in salary cap leagues.
