Week 10: Pickups of the Week
This one is rather simple: When Nick Foles plays quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, Riley Cooper gets the ball. In three games started by Foles, Cooper has 15 receptions for 347 yards and four touchdowns. In Philly's other six games, 10 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown. Not only does he have great Red Zone/Jump Ball size at 6-foot-3, Cooper is stretching defenses, averaging 18.1 yards per catch. The Eagles have been searching for a consistent option opposite DeSean Jackson. As long as Foles remains under center, Cooper is that guy and one who won't face double teams. Can be used as WR3 against the Packers in Week 10 and the Redskins in Week 11.MyFantasyLeague availability: 76%
No rationale needed for picking up a defense against Jacksonville (allows third most points to fantasy defenses). Then again, we should note that the Titans have not been a top fantasy producer this season; no more than two sacks in four straight weeks. Sometimes owners can get too cute and grab an underperforming unit regardless of the nice matchup. With this game in Tennessee, with Chris Johnson producing recently, with the Jaguars moving on without Justin Blackmon, this isn't too cute.
