Week 10: Pickups of the Week
Earlier this season Dobson legitimately earned the nickname "Dropson" and showed he wasn't ready to shoulder the receiving load. Hey, he's a rookie. Only because off the numerous injuries and overall turnover at the Pats' WR position was the second rounder - and fellow rook Kenbrell Thompkins - thrust into a leading man role. Well, now the cavalry has shown up, specifically Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola. Oh, that hasn't hurt Dobson, but rather enhanced the outside threat. In Week 9 against the Steelers, he caught five passes for 130 yards and two scores. Perhaps more interesting: he finished second to Gronk in targets with nine - or one more than Amendola and Julian Edelman combined. While Thompkins' value has diminished, Dobson is worth stashing and using as a WR3 when the Pats return from the bye week.Injury Status: Injured Reserve
No rationale needed for picking up a defense against Jacksonville (allows third most points to fantasy defenses). Then again, we should note that the Titans have not been a top fantasy producer this season; no more than two sacks in four straight weeks. Sometimes owners can get too cute and grab an underperforming unit regardless of the nice matchup. With this game in Tennessee, with Chris Johnson producing recently, with the Jaguars moving on without Justin Blackmon, this isn't too cute.
