Week 16: Start 'Em

While we're not projecting starting type stats for these players, they have good potential and could surprise. This week's picks include Profiled players include Kirk Cousins, Jay Cutler, Ray Rice, Jordan Todman, and Greg Jennings.

Martellus Bennett set career highs for himself in 2012 and this year after only 14 games he has more receptions and yards than 2012 and the same amount of touchdowns. Bennett seems to be the recipient of less coverage due to the fact that opposing defenses are focused on the big playmakers in Chicago -- Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey and Matt Forte. With all the focus on them, Bennett has been able to find openings in the defenses and make plays. This week in a big game vs. Philadelphia the 2nd worst pass defense in the NFL, Bennett should be able to find more of those holes and come up with some big plays. If you need to start a TE or a flex, Bennett is your guy. In Deep leagues you can even consider him as a WR3

For most of 2013, rookie Tyler Eifert has played alongside fellow tight end Jermaine Gresham and together they have combined to put up solid numbers and been very helpful to the Bengals. However not as helpful to fantasy owners because they share the field. Gresham was hurt last game and missed the second half and at that point Eifert caught all three of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown. We are uncertain at this point in the week if Gresham will play, but if he doesn't play Eifert could be in for his best game of his young career as the Bengals face off vs. the Vikings who have the third worst pass defense in the NFL, giving up 290 yards per game through the air. Follow Gresham's injury status and if he sits out, make sure Eifert is in your lineup.
