Week 8: Super Sleepers
Brandon Gibson finally scored last week and he did it twice. He has been added in many fantasy leagues and is starting in quite a few this week given some of the injury woes fantasy owners have suffered at the WR position this season. Wide outs are a deep position, but there has been quite a bit of inconsistency with the mid to lower range receivers in deep leagues. Gibson's five catches for 40 yards and two TDs in Week 7 makes him an appealing, yet risky start. Gibson has the ability to put up numbers, but the Miami passing game is not firing on all cylinders making it hard to support all wide outs. This week against New England Gibson will have his chances and look to continue his momentum from last week.
Rob Housler is unfortunately part of an offense that cannot seem to get their act together. At 6'5 and 250 pounds, Housler is a presence on the field and has the athleticism to match, but he has yet to have a true breakout game. The last two weeks have looked up for Housler as he has seen more targets and nabbed seven passes for 53 yards last week vs. Seattle. Housler should continue to see increased targets as the Arizona offense seeks to find its pace. He is an option at TE2 in deep leagues, but is just finding his way onto the general fantasy radar. This week he faces an Atlanta defense that has allowed the 13th most fantasy points to tight ends. Look for Housler to be a guy that some fantasy owners in deep leagues consider this week.
