Week 8: Game Time Decisions - Injury Updates

We let you know the playing chances of the big name players who are injured. This week's picks include Profiled players include Michael Vick, DeMarco Murray, Steven Jackson, Percy Harvin, and Roddy White.

Amendola suffered a concussion during the week six win over New Orleans and was forced to miss the week seven loss to the Jets. He returned to Wednesday's practice and appears likely to suit up for the meeting with Miami. A groin injury suffered in week one cost him three straight games. The oft injured 27 year-old played just one game in 2011, missed five games last season, has never topped 700 yards in a season and has just seven career touchdowns. Tom Brady could very well have a full arsenal of weapons following the return of the Gronk last week. Julian Edelman and rookies Kenbrell Thompkins / Aaron Dobson might see less targets this week, making them all dicey WR3 plays in a difficult matchup. The Dolphin defense - led by free agent signed Brent Grimes - has been solid, allowing the third fewest fantasy PPG to wide receivers. Miami has yielded just 150 yards to the position and have yet to allow a touchdown to a receiver.

Jimmy Graham did not practice Wednesday and his status for the week eight matchup with Buffalo is in doubt. He was held without a catch in the Week 6 loss at New England and apparently the bye week wasn't enough time for him to heal completely from the ankle injury he sustained against the Patriots. Graham is averaging 98 yards per game (four 100+ yard performances) and six touchdowns through the first six games of this season. The 26 year-old difference maker missed just two games during his first three seasons in the league and scored 25 touchdowns coming into 2013. Veteran Ben Watson would start if Graham sits out against a Bills defense allowing the third fewest points per game to tight ends. Buffalo is yielding just 32 yards per game and have allowed two touchdowns to the tight end position. Graham owners would be wise to check if Washington's Jordan Reed is available.
