Week 9: Snaps and Targets

We look at who played last week, how often and how many passes came their way Profiled players include Russell Wilson, Dexter McCluster, Harry Douglas, Kenny Stills, and David Nelson.

Blackmon had four catches for 31 yards in Week 8, season lows in both categories. But he still had 10 targets, his second-highest total in his four games. Blackmon is getting a steadily high amount of looks, but it seems his production will come and go with the opponent's defense. The 49ers presented a much stiffer challenge than the Rams, Broncos and Chargers did.

Reed led the Redskins in targets for the second straight week, catching eight passes for 90 yards on 14 targets. Reed has developed into a very safe fantasy option, and that should last no matter who plays quarterback for Washington. Robert Griffin threw 11 of his 30 passes to Reed, and Kirk Cousins threw three of his nine to Reed.
