Who to Draft: Longshots

Seven players with upside that you should consider using one of your last picks on Profiled players include Joe McKnight, Shane Vereen, Anthony Armstrong, Julian Edelman, and Emmanuel Sanders.

Jordan Shipley caught 52 passes for 600 yards and three touch downs last season. Nothing to write home about; on the other hand, he might be a sleeper when it comes to PPR formats. I am not comfortable at all with the quarterback situation in Cincinnati, so Shipley might have great value as a quick drop pass receiver for his struggling QB. Shipley has the ability to be productive and in his second season we should see his numbers increase. Watch Shipley and see what you think, but he is a late draft option.

This big tight end caught 67 passes for over 630 yards and four scores in 2010. Dallas Clark is still Manning's favorite tight end option, but he has to see that Tamme has value in the passing game. Opponent defenses have likely caught on to the Manning-Clark show at this stage in their careers, why not open up a new series of schemes featuring Tamme. Tamme has the speed and hands to make his presence known. I think Tamme will have a more active role in Indianapolis' 2011 campaign. Enough said.
