Week 1: Super Sleepers
When Lee Evans left for Baltimore the Bills were left looking for a receiver to play opposite Steve Johnson. This year, or at least this week, that spot will be filled by Donald Jones. Last year Jones had 18 receptions for 213 yards with 1 touchdown as a rookie. With a year under his belt, the same quarterback under center and some more playing time those numbers should improve. This week the focus will be on Johnson so Jones needs to be at his best and prove he can be the Bills' number two receiver. Look for Donald to post good numbers this week when the Bills travel to Kansas City.
The reason I like Gresham this week is Andy Dalton. With Dalton under center Gresham should see plenty of action as a safety valve when ever the Bengals are in a pass situation. If you're in a ppr league then Jermaine could be gold this week. The Bengals will likely be playing from behind, yes even against the Browns, most of this game which means plenty of passing opportunities. With a rookie quarterback it's difficult to predict just how good any of the receivers will be and even more so for the tight ends. So don't go out there and pick up Gresham thinking he's going to score you 30 points this week and come back here screaming when he scores 8. I think the potential is there for a good game, especially in a ppr league, but rookie quarterbacks are very unpredictable so play Gresham at your own risk.Injury Status: Out - Back
