Week 7: Sit 'Em
I am concerned with the passing situation in Oakland. With Jason Campbell out for a prolonged period, it appears that Kyle Boller will take over until the recently acquired Carson Palmer takes the lead. I am not quite comfortable recommending a start for an Oakland wide out until they get the QB situation figured out. The other downfall to the passing game is the great success of Darren McFadden. If the Oakland running game can carry the load, we might not see a significant emergence of the passing attack. I think Carson Palmer has a better chance to add value to the passing game than Kyle Boller, but we will see. Sit on your Oakland wideouts until we see this unfold.
Moore had some decent outings in Weeks 2-4, but dropped off big time in Weeks 5 and 6. Now Moore has to deal with the loss of Jason Campbell and a healthy line-up of Oakland receivers. I think that Moore has value, but might not be your steady wide out option. Look for Moore to have his up again down again games. If Kyle Boller starts, Moore is an extremely risky play. If Carson Palmer gets into the mix, Moore might have some more value, but he is still not my first pick as a #3 wide out or flex play. Keep your eyes on Moore, but do not have too high of expectations.
