Week 9: Sit 'Em

These usually solid players are not worth starting this week due to match-up, injury, or other circumstances This week's picks include Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tim Tebow, Roy Helu, Chris Johnson, and Ryan Torain.

Stevie Johnson will face off against Revis this week, enough said? Maybe, but Revis can be beat. However, I do think that Johnson will be limited by not only Revis, but the limitations that will be imposed upon Ryan Fitzpatrick by the rest of the New York defense. Fred Jackson will run this show, no pun intended this week and the Buffalo passing game will be severely limited. Look for Johnson to grab 3-4 passes for 40-50 yards. I do not think he will find the end zone as his coverage will be tight.

Torrey Smith has filled in for an injured Lee Evans and had some quality production. However, I do not think this week vs. Pittsburgh is the week to start Smith. Boldin is the first passing option in Baltimore and Ray Rice and the ground attack are preferred to having Flacco throw the ball. This week the Baltimore and Pittsburgh match-up will be defensively focused. I also think that Baltimore will feature its running attack. Smith may be a flex or third receiver option down the road during some easier match-ups, but keep him on your bench this week.
