Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace didn't practice Wednesday. The early word on him is that he's still expected to play this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, but it's tough to tell because of the nature of his injury, a hamstring pull. Head coach Mike Tomlin deemed the pull to be "slight" on Tuesday, but they tend to be lingering injuries. Wallace is currently fourth in the NFL with 612 receiving yards. He has scored four touchdowns and is averaging more than 18 yards per catch.
Just a new injury concern to be aware of. As always, a lot will be told by how much Wallace is able to practice on Thursday and/or Friday. No Wallace this weekend would mean more targets for Hines Ward, Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders in what is definitely a favorable matchup.
