Bills, WR Stevie Johnson agree to 5-year contract

Buffalo BIlls WR Stevie Johnson @StevieJohnson13 didn't get quite as big of a payday as he wanted, but he should be happy nonetheless. Johnson and the Bills came to terms Monday on a five-year deal worth $36.25 million and $19.5 million guranteed. Johnson reportedly wanted to make $8 million per year, but he settled for a little more than $7 million. The new contract will keep him in Buffalo through his age-30 season. Johnson posted back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns over the past two seasons.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's a bit expensive, but it's a deal that Buffalo had to make for the sake of its passing offense. Johnson has put up WR2 numbers since 2010, but we know that he can be a little erratic. If he stays focused on the game and gets consistently good play out of quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, he shouldn't have much of a problem reaching 1,000 yards with 7-10 scores again next season.
