Steelers re-sign WR Jerricho Cotchery to 2-year deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers won't have Mike Wallace around for an indefinite amount of time, but they have brought back wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery @cotcheryfoundat. The Steelers and Cotchery agreed to a two-year deal on Wednesday. He returns to Pittsburgh to compete with Emmanuel Sanders @E_Sanders88 as the team's lead No. 3 WR. Cotchery caught just 16 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns in his first year in the Black and Yellow.

Fantasy Analysis:

It surprises me that Cotchery is just 29 years old -- he'll turn 30 in June. But he's basically become a special teams player or reserve wideout. Don't expect that to change much in 2012. In the worst-case scenario in which Wallace decides to hold out into the regular season for some reason, Cotchery would still be looking for targets behind Antonio Brown, Heath Miller and perhaps Sanders. In other words, he has very, very little fantasy value.
