Ed Reed reported to Ravens training camp Wednesday morning.
A big sigh of relief was heard in Baltimore today. Ed Reed threatened to hold out again this season trying to get a new contract, but showed up when camp opened. It has been an annual thing for Reed to threaten to holdout in hopes of a new contract. He did skip mandatory Ravens minicamp last month trying to posture for the new contract. Reed is in the final year of his contract and has been very vocal about gettting an extension done to remain in Baltimore. The 34 year old safety, an 8-time pro bowler, has also used the term "retirement" in his interviews. His play and leadership are a key ingredient to the always strong Baltimore defense. Baltimore should once again field a very good defense with Reed controlling the secondary.
