Two days after undrafted rookie WR Cole Beasley notified Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett that he was quitting the team because his heart wasn't into playing football, has returned to training camp.
Cole Beasley, an undrafted rookie WR from Southern Methodist, turned heads in mid-July during Cowboys minicamp with his "speed, reliable hands, and ability to make the tough grabs in traffic" according to the Dallas Morning News. Although he left the team for two days due to personal reasons, it seems rather odd that his heart can can come full circle in less than 48 hours. Nonetheless, if Beasley is truly committed to coming back, he has an opportunity to make the final roster. If injuries pile up in Dallas at the WR position then he might play a contributing factor (maybe real-life WR3 status with some Laurent Robinson flair); however, for that to happen he would most likely have to jump over Andre Holmes , Kevin Ogletree , and Danny Coale.
