A pair of Baltimore Ravens skill players, wide receiver Torrey Smith and tight end Ed Dickson , could "be out a few weeks," according to Ravens beat writer Aaron Wilson, relaying head coach John Harbaugh's postgame update. Smith sprained an ankle, and Dickson suffered a shoulder subluxation during the team's preseason game Thursday night.
In a subsequent tweet, Wilson wrote that Dickson would undergo an MRI. While the fantasy TE2 is a bit of a sleeper -- especially since the team's other tight end, Dennis Pitta, is already out with a broken hand -- the real fantasy concern here is what's up with the uber-speedy Smith. As long as the "high ankle" label isn't attached to Smith's sprain, then fantasy owners can maybe, kinda, sorta breathe easier. For now, we wait and see whether the high-end WR3 with crazy big-play potential will miss any games that count. Joe Flacco can't be a happy man with so many of his weapons watching from the sideline.
