Vikings RB Adrian Peterson taken off PUP list Sunday

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson @AdrianPeterson had a chance of coming off the Physically Unable to Perform list Sunday. And that's what happened yesterday as Peterson participated in his first practice of the year.
Head coach Leslie Frazier was not far behind with some cold water for everyone in Minnesota.
"I want to caution you: I know there are a lot of fans that are very optimistic and excited about seeing him back," Frazier said of Peterson. "But for us, it's just a part of the process. It doesn't mean a whole lot other than he's done a great job in his rehab up to this point.
"It doesn't mean in the future he's going to be lining up with our team in the opening game. We don't know that."

Fantasy Analysis:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's all part of the process. We know that. Peterson must wait three days to put on the pads, and he'll have a whole new set of hurdles to clear then. I don't think he'll be the Adrian we know and love by week one -- or by week four, for that matter. He still has a ways to go, and his current second-round ADP remains too rich for me.
But, dude: Adrian Peterson is practicing about eight months after his left knee basically exploded. And that's pretty cool.
