Lions WR Calvin Johnson misses practice, isn't afraid of Madden curse

While a spare few have been able to evade its grip in recent years, many cover athletes on the annual Madden NFL video game have fallen victim to its curse. After stealing the lifeblood with its wicked sorcery from Peyton Hillis last year, the monster is ready to feast again, and Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is in the curse's sights.
If you believe in that kind of stuff. Johnson doesn't.
"I'm a God-fearing man," Johnson said Monday. "Curses don't bother me."
In a slightly related story, Johnson missed practice on Monday. But before jumping to any otherworldly conclusions, head coach Jim Schwartz said Johnson just needed a day off to rest some sore legs.

Fantasy Analysis:

Megatron also has some sort of finger injury, which doesn't seem too concerning. Is any of this pushing me away from him in fantasy drafts? Not at all. Forget curses; take him in the middle of your first round and be happy.
