Report: Bills RB Fred Jackson will miss 4 weeks in 'best-case scenario'

Bills running back Fred Jackson @Fred22Jackson underwent an MRI on his right knee Monday, the exact results of which have yet to be made public. According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, "the best-case scenario for Fred Jackson would be a return in 4 weeks" but an exact timetable has not yet been established.
It was reported Sunday night that Jackson has a sprained LCL in his right knee but did not tear any ligaments. La Canfora said that the Bills will "monitor" Jackson and the injury for the next 7-10 days. C.J. Spiller @CJSPILLER would be the Bills' starting running back for as long as Jackson is sidelined. The Bills host the Chiefs in Week 2.

Fantasy Analysis:

Spiller touched the ball 15 times after Jackson sustained the injury in the second quarter of yesterday's game, and he finished with 191 total yards and a score from that point. He is a must-start going forward, perhaps a top-10 RB for as long as he's got the starting gig. Spiller averaged more than 100 yards per game and scored five times in six starts last season while Jackson was out with a broken leg.
