What was pretty much assumed throughout the week was confirmed Friday: Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas won't play this week due to a concussion. In Week 1 versus the Texans, Thomas rushed three times for 11 yards and caught a 32-yard pass. He lost a fumble after taking a big hit that sent him to the locker room in the second quarter and ruled him out for the rest of the game. He won't play in this one, either, and rookie Lamar Miller will make his NFL debut as Reggie Bush 's backup. Miller was a healthy scratch last week.
Bush got 20 touches last week and turned them into 109 yards from scrimmage. He should get at least that many here. Oakland's defense is nowhere near as good as Houston's, and it could be affected traveling to the other side of the country for an early game after a short week of preparation. Bush is a very strong RB2 this week.
