Titans WR Kenny Britt should play in Week 5

The Tennessee Titans are optimistic about a Week 5 return for injured wide receiver Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18. After a solid game against the Detroit Lions where he had six catches for 55 yards, Britt hasn't practiced. The injury issues seem to linger and he's been dealing with a bad ankle. The team felt his sprained ankle wasn't bad yet preferred him to take Week 4 off and get some extra rest. Head coach Mike Munchak said, "We thought we'd have a better chance waiting until next Sunday."

Fantasy Analysis:

WRs Nate Washington and rookie Kendall Wright have held their own but even with their contributions, Britt is still this team's best receiver when he's on the field. QB Jake Locker will not play and if Britt does, he'll be catching passes from QB Matt Hasselbeck @Hasselbeck. Britt can be an explosive threat all over the field at times, and has played with Hasselbeck in previous seasons. For fantasy owners who've stuck by Britt, there should be no rush to start him. Both the risk/reward, but given how many quality receivers are at your disposal, it may be best to only use him in emergency situations.

Right now go to ESPN and look at the stats for kenny britt for each year he has been in the league. He's done nothing. He had one or two good games. Why are people so high on him?

Sometimes you have to question why there is so much hype for a player that hasn't done anything.

In 2010 Britt had 775 receiving yards and 9 TDs having only played 10 games. And in his first two games last season he totalled 14 catches for 271 yards and 3 TD against two of the league's best secondaries. The guy is immensely talented and if it weren't for him being plagued by injuries he'd have likely been a top 5 WR the past two seasons. He's only 24yrs old and hasn't even reached his full potential yet.
