Jets RB Bilal Powell sees more snaps than RB Shonn Greene

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News tweeted that for the second time in as many weeks, New York Jets running back Bilal Powell played more snaps than his counterpart RB Shonn Greene. Powell saw 25 snaps and Greene played 24. Powell rushed four times for 18 yards, while Greene rushed eight times for 26 yards. The Jets inability to establish the run limited their offense. Seven of their 17 points on Monday night came from a 100-yard kickoff return from RB Joe McKnight @OfficialJoeJet.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Jets are in big trouble and were extremely fortunate to keep Monday night's contest close against the Houston Texans. Houston's offense stalled three times which forced three field goal attempts and if you convert those FGs to TDs, we're looking at another blowout. Mark Sanchez @Mark_Sanchez completed less than 50-percent of his passes, threw two INTs, and was fortunate to not give away two fumbles. Tim Tebow @TimTebow had the Jets' longest rush of the night. As for Powell, he's close to earning a more favorable role, but the Jets remain reluctant to give him a larger workload.
