According to ESPNDallas.com via sources, the Cowboys "fear" that running back DeMarco Murray has ligament damage in his left foot. Murray sprained that foot during Sunday's game versus the Ravens. However, they don't think Murray has a Lisfranc injury, which would likely end his season.
Update: A Monday MRI has confirmed "some" ligament damage in Murray's left foot, but no broken bones, according to Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com. Eatman writes that the injury "could" sideline Murray for Week 7 and "possibly longer."
The Cowboys have yet to rule out Murray for Week 7, but he seems to be unlikely to play. This means Felix Jones , who played well against the Ravens, should be owned in all leagues. Over the next four weeks, the Cowboys have a couple of attractive matchups for running backs, including matchups with the Panthers and Falcons. Phillip Tanner and Lance Dunbar could also get some work out of the backfield.
