If you own Aaron Rodgers , Jermichael Finley and/or Alex Green , you are cleared to start them, if needed, this Sunday against the Rams. They are all listed as probable. Wide receiver Greg Jennings , however, is far away from seeing any playing time. As expected, he will miss another game because of his groin injury. He didn't practice at all this week, but the Packers are hoping he will return in Week 8.
The Rams' secondary is pretty strong, but so is that Packers' passing offense, and if I have to choose between the Packers' offense or any defense, I'm going to almost always side with Rodgers' arm. With Jennings out again, James Jones is a fine WR2. He has scored two touchdowns in each of the past three games. And while he had a well-earned reputation as a man with butter fingers, Jones has caught 23 of 24 catchable balls thrown his way this season, according to Pro Football Focus. Randall Cobb should be deployed as a WR3.
