On Saturday, the Saints ruled out tight end Jimmy Graham for Week 7. He didn't make the trip to Tampa Bay with the team. Graham was very limited in practice on Thursday and Friday and was looking like a game-time decision, but the Saints thought it would be best to give his injured right ankle another week off. Graham injured the ankle in Week 5 against the Chargers. Although he kept playing in that game, he looked very hobbled, and the bye week wasn't enough time for him to completely heal.
And so, the Saints help out fantasy owners. I, for one, was really not looking forward to making the decision to either sit or start Graham if he was active Sunday morning. He might have been nothing more than a decoy. But now he is safe to bench in all leagues. We'll check back on him in Week 8. David Thomas will likely replace him in the lineup, but he's not a fantasy option. I think Lance Moore , who is back after missing some time with a hamstring injury, will see the biggest uptick in targets. I like him as a WR3 versus the Buccaneers.
