Titans quarterback Jake Locker said Monday that his left shoulder feels "a lot better," but it looks like it won't be enough to get him back under center for Week 8. According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Matt Hasselbeck is expected to get his fourth consecutive start this Sunday against the Colts. Head coach Mike Munchak said Monday that he "assumes" as much.
Hasselbeck was his typical, safe self against the Bills, completing 22 of 33 passes for 205 yards, one touchdown and no turnovers. He completed passes with eight receivers, but no Titans WR gained more than 50 yards. However, Hasselbeck is playing well enough right now to be considered as a QB2, and he has a nice upcoming matchup. The fact that he has been playing so well might be affecting how many games Locker misses. However, Munchak said Locker is still his starter when he is ready to return.
