Jimmy Graham is making progress in his comeback from an ankle injury, but it's unknown if it will be enough for him to play Sunday night against the Broncos. He was limited in practice all week and is a game-time deciison. However, Graham gave out some uplifting words after Friday's practice, telling the New Orleans Times-Picayune that he is "definitely" coming along and If it was up to me, I'd play. I'm good." Graham hasn't played since Week 5 because of the injury.
It would be too bad if Graham can't play in this game, which has all the makings of a shootout. But fantasy owners have a tough decision to make. We probably won't know if Graham will play until about 7 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday night. If you have Saints backup tight end David Thomas or one of the Broncos' TEs on your bench, you'll be able to wait it out. But most of us won't be able to do that. I'm a very risk-averse person, so even though I own Graham, he'll probably be on my bench in place of Heath Miller this weekend unless we hear more definitive word about Graham's status in the coming days.
