Just as Ben Tate looked to be over his toe injury, he suffered a hamstring pull in the closing stages of Week 7's win over the Ravens. It was deemed to be a "slight pull" after the game, but it doesn't look like the bye week was enough time for Tate to heal, and Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday that Tate "is going to miss some time here."
How much time? Nobody knows right now, but it doesn't sound like Tate has a good chance of playing this weekend against the Bills. If he was healthy and able, Tate would be a very intriguing flex option against such a pathetic run defense. As it is, he should remain on your bench. He doesn't have 10 total fantasy points in his last four games. Justin Forsett will have to pick up the slack if Tate is out, but really, just how awesome is Arian Foster going to be this Sunday? What is the baseline for his expected fantasy point total for Week 9? Is it 25? 30?
