Vikings WR Percy Harvin out for Week 10

Vikings WR Percy Harvin out for Week 10

Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin @Percy_Harvin has missed just three games in four NFL seasons, but he won't play today against the Lions, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He is dealing with a sprained ankle that forced him to miss practice all week. He is listed as doubtful on the injury report, but it sounds like he won't even go through a pregame warmup. Michael Jenkins @MikeJenk84 and Jerome Simpson @rome081 stand to see more targets with Harvin out of the lineup.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Lions can be beaten through the air, but can a scared Christian Ponder @cponder7 really succeed without his best receiving weapon available? Quick answer: no. I would not invest in tight end Kyle Rudolph @KyleRudolph82, Simpson and/or Jenkins either. I expect the Vikings to go very run-heavy, try to waste the clock, keep Stafford and Co. off the field and keep Ponder from costing them the game.
