Report: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger might be out for multiple weeks

According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Steelers are "preparing" to be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for "at least a few weeks." Roethlisberger was injured early in the third quarter of Monday night's game against the Chiefs when he was sacked and landed on the shoulder. According to La Canfora, the early diagnosis is a sprained shoulder, but more should be known after Tuesday's MRI. Via ESPN's Rick Reilly, Roethlisberger's agent called the injury "non-traditional and "unique."

Fantasy Analysis:

Big Ben completed just half of his 18 passes against the Chiefs, but he was let down by his receivers due to a series of drops. But the bigger news, obviously, is that this injury does not sound good at all. It seems like he has a decent chance of missing both favorable matchups against the Ravens in the next three weeks. Byron Leftwich has the arm to get the ball to Mike Wallace @Wallace17_daKid and Co., but will he be given enough time behind that Steelers O-line with his super-long delivery? I expect the Steelers to go run-heavy while Roethlisberger is out.
