Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart doesn't make trip to Kansas City

Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. He didn't make the trip with the team Saturday to Kansas City, so he will stay behind and try to heal his injured ankles. Stewart suffered a left high ankle sprain and re-aggravated an injury to his right ankle during Monday's win over the Eagles. He didn't practice at all during the week. DeAngelo Williams @DeAngeloRB will get the start and the majority of the carries out of the backfield with Mike Tolbert @miketolbert35 being sprinkled in.

Fantasy Analysis:

It bothers me that this game is even going to be played tomorrow, if that's what Romeo Crennel and the Chiefs leaders want to do, they should have that right.
Williams has been a massive bust this season. He hasn't topped 70 yards on the ground all year, and he's averaging just 3.2 yards per carry. Of course, he has gotten at least 15 carries in a game just twice, but he should see more work this weekend. The Chiefs have allowed the sixth-most rushing yards to RBs, and considering the expected touch count for Williams in this game, he is probably worth using as a flex or a low-end RB2 in 12-team leagues. However, Tolbert or Cam Newton should get all of the goal-line chances.
