Chargers HC Norv Turner acknowledges he will be fired

When discussing his future with the San Diego Chargers, head coach Norv Turner told CBS broadcasters Jim Nantz and Phil Simms that "we all know in the end what the final outcome will be." Just a few days ago, multiple stories were published that stated team president Dean Spanos "essentially decided at least a month ago" that Turner and general manager A.J. Smith would be fired. Turner has been with San Diego since 2007.

Fantasy Analysis:

Despite the Chargers big 34-24 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, look for a big blow up for this team. If it's not bolted down, it might be gone. Given the nature of coaching in the NFL, look for Turner to find a new job very soon. He still remains one of the more highly respected offensive coordinators available and he usually performs better when he can focus solely on that task.
