Texans RB Arian Foster leaves in 3rd quarter due to irregular heartbeat

Texans running back Arian Foster @ArianFoster missed a large majority of the second half of Sunday's home loss to the Vikings due to an irregular heartbeat. The good news is that both Foster and head coach Gary Kubiak said after the game that Foster should be fine going forward. In fact, Foster was cleared to re-enter late in the fourth quarter, but he was held back as the game was kind of out of hand.
"It's a very minor situation," Foster said. "I'll be OK."

Fantasy Analysis:

Irregular heartbeats can signal something much more severe, so it's great to hear that Foster is feeling good. With that out of the way, I must bring this up: What a week for Arian Foster to turn in the worst statistical game of his career. Ten carries for 15 yards with two catches for 14 yards and a lost fumble. Foster had scored at least 10 fantasy points in all but one game this season entering Week 16. Then today, while most leagues are holding their fantasy championship, he likely got you zero or negative points. Of course, you wouldn't have had the chance for that title without Foster, but his short afternoon, albeit the right call, cost many, many teams looking for a ring.
It may not matter now to most, but Foster should be good to go next week against the Colts.
