Cardinals RB Beanie Wells feels time is up in Arizona

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells has expressed publicly that he feels his "days are numbered" with the organization. Multiple reports tend to agree with the former Ohio State back. Wells added that Sunday's game against San Francisco will be an "audition for a job somewhere else." The Cards benched Wells after losing a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. "That's my mindset. I'm just going to go out there and put my best foot forward for all the other 31 teams that's watching," said Wells.

Fantasy Analysis:

Arizona has a club option for Wells in 2013 should they choose to exercise it. From Wells sentiments, they likely will not. In all fairness and looking at this from both directions, Wells has struggled and Arizona has struggled to provide him with any kind of offensive line. He has battled injuries and the Cardinals have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. It does not matter how great Wells could have been because the organization has not held up their end of the bargain either. The free agent market for mediocre, injury-plagued running backs probably won't be so hot either.
