Titans WR Kenny Britt says 2012 was his worst year

On Dec. 9, Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18 caught eight passes for 143 yards against the Colts. It was a performance that recalled times back in September 2011 when Britt looked like one of the best wide receivers in the game. Then he tore his right ACL and MCL in Week 3. That injury and offseason surgery on both knees clearly hampered Britt this season, one the Rutgers alum deemed to be his worst.
"I thought I would be back to normal at the beginning of the season, but the surgeries set me back," Britt said via The Tennessean. "Hopefully, I can be better next year. I definitely plan on being a lot better next year."

Fantasy Analysis:

Britt also said something absurd when asked how his and Adrian Peterson's return from a severe 2011 knee injury turned out so different, saying "As a wide receiver, there is more stopping and planting and getting back used to catching the ball than just being handed off the ball and starting running."
Yes, because Adrian Peterson never stops or plants or cuts when he runs. It's just straight ahead, all the time.
Whatever. In any case, with a committed offseason workout plan, Britt can be a big-time comeback player next season. Quarterback Jake Locker also needs to make major strides, but if the duo can gain a good rapport, Britt is going to be a steal in drafts.
