Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew won't hold out in 2013

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32 doesn't want to relive anything from the 2012 season. That season began with his holdout that lasted up until one week before the start of the regular season. He won't go that route again. He won't be asking for a new contract either.
"I went to them last year; it didn't work out," Jones-Drew said in an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio on Friday. "I'm not going to reach out to them because, you know, I just feel like I tried that last year [and] it didn't work. If the Jaguars want to do a new deal, I'm more than open to talk. I'm not going to say I don't want to go there. I've grown up there. This is where I started. I want to win a championship there."
Jones-Drew has one year remaining on his current contract and will be paid $4.95 million next season. After getting a late start on the 2012 season, he didn't play after Week 7 because of a Lisfranc sprain to his left foot. He finally underwent surgery two weeks ago and is expected to need four months of recovery. He turns 28 in March.

Fantasy Analysis:

Well, I guess that's nice. Honestly, MJD's words on this matter don't mean a whole lot to me right now. I could see him changing his mind during the summer. The more important issue for fantasy owners right now is tracking how he comes along in his rehab. Jones-Drew will probably miss OTAs, but he should be back in time for a full training camp.
