As expected, Norv Turner becomes Browns' offensive coordinator

It was pretty much assumed for about a week and it was made official on Thursday: Norv Turner is the Browns' offensive coordinator. Turner teams up again with new head coach Rob Chudzinski, who served as Turner's tight ends coach and assistant head coach with the Chargers from 2009-10.
"Norv has been one of the most respected offensive coaches in the NFL over the last 25 to 30 years, and he has had a tremendous amount of success at each one of his stops -- as a position coach, coordinator and head coach," Chudzinski said in a statement. "I was able to learn a great deal in the time that I worked with him in San Diego, and I expect that having him as our offensive coordinator will make a big impact on that side of the ball."
Turner is expected to handle the play-calling duties.

Fantasy Analysis:

Chudzinski is known for his down-the-field offensive philosophy, which is nice for quarterback Brandon Weeden @bweeden3, but Turner likes to lean on a singular running back. Trent Richardson played 702 snaps as a rookie, ninth-most among all RBs. And that's despite the fact that Richardson missed one game and played the second half of the season with multiple broken ribs. His sophomore year should see absolutely no drop in workload.
