Giants RB Andre Brown will 'prepare to be a starter'

When the Giants released running back Ahmad Bradshaw last week, attention in the fantasy world immediately turned to running back David Wilson @4stillRunning, who showed flashes of brilliance as a rookie in 2012. But Wilson isn't the only productive runner on the roster. Andre Brown @drebrown35, who scored eight touchdowns and averaged more than five yards per carry last season, has his eyes set on Bradshaw's old role.
"I'm going to prepare to be a starter," Brown said to the New York Post. "That's the dream job right there, to go out there and start and play for the New York Giants. I would love to do that. I'm going to be put as much work as I need to put in to prepare for that role."
Brown's season ended when he broke his left leg in Week 12, but he told The Post that he is fully healed.

Fantasy Analysis:

Wilson's speed and versatility along with the Giants' investment in his as a first-round pick make him the favorite to be the starter. That's not to say Brown won't be involved. He's a much better short-yardage player, and it's no secret that Wilson was abysmal in pass protection, meaning Brown might get some third-down looks. He is a pretty good handcuff/late-round flier pick in drafts. But right now, I would still consider Wilson an easy top-20 RB.
