The Chiefs continued to add to their offense Wednesday. Their latest move is the signing of former Colts wide receiver Donnie Avery. He is coming off the best season of his career with Andrew Luck -- Avery caught 60 passes for 781 yards and three touchdowns last season. Avery becomes part of an offense that has been busy lately. They found their new quarterback in Alex Smith via a trade, they re-signed No. 1 receiver Dwayne Bowe and struck a deal with tight end Anthony Fasano.
Avery has great speed, but he's another guy who is very limited as a receiver. He might end up being Kansas City's No. 2 WR, but he has never been more than a WR3, including last season with Luck. Now he moves from Luck to Smith, which isn't a good thing for his fantasy value. Avery is a late-round pick in 12-team leagues.
