Dolphins add TE Dustin Keller

The Dolphins have brought in another toy for Ryan Tannehill. It won't draw as much buzz as the Mike Wallace signing, but it is a quality one nonethless. The Dolphins have agreed to terms with former Jets tight end Dustin Keller @DUSTINKELLER81. It's a one-year deal worth $4.25 million. Ankle and hamstring injuries limited Keller to just eight games last season. He caught 28 passes for 317 yards and two touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

I think this is an outstanding move by Miami. Keller reportedly wanted a multi-year deal, so he will be motivated this season to show that he deserves it when he hits the market in 2014. Keller is 28 years old and just one season separated from a season in which he racked up 65 catches. A good tight end can be a young QB's best friend, and Keller is talented player who can really stretch a defense. Fantasy owners might have forgotten about him a little bit because of his poor 2012, but he is a low-end TE1 with solid upside.
Meanwhile, chalk up another void in the Jets' offense.
