Chiefs HC Andy Reid on RB Dexter McCluster: 'I've got things in mind for him'

Chiefs running back Dexter McCluster is extremely quick and elusive. He can run, catch and return kicks. He can be a dangerous weapon for most any team, but through three seasons, he's basically been an afterthought in Kansas City. Enter new head coach Andy Reid. He likes McCluster and actually wanted to draft him in 2010. Now Reid's finally got him and doesn't want to let him go to waste.
"He's a unique talent because he can do a couple, three different things for you ...," Reid said of McCluster. "I think he's a good football player and he has a role on this team. I've got some things in mind for him."

Fantasy Analysis:

I think McCluster is turning into the next Bernard Scott: A player who is hyped by all of his coaches but never does anything to deserve it -- or is never given enough chances to deserve it -- when the games begin. Maybe he's not being utilized correctly or maybe he just isn't that good. Either way, I don't expect his production to take a big leap up in 2013. He will probably be a guy you choose late in your drafts but likely drop after a few weeks where he just isn't part of the offense.
