Giants WR Hakeem Nicks in attendance at voluntary workouts and feeling good

Victor Cruz did not attend the Giants' voluntary workouts on Monday, which was expected. But Hakeem Nicks was there, and he talked to the New York Daily News about his workout with quarterback Eli Manning last week at Duke University.
"We got some good work in," Nicks said. "It was good for me to just get my feet back up under me a little bit, and it was my first time running routes with Eli. So it was good. I feel good. There weren't any setbacks.
"I kept it simple because it was my first time running routes. I wasn't about to go out there and -- it's still early right now. So the biggest thing is that I want my presence to be felt there with Eli. ... We're on the same page."

Fantasy Analysis:

In four NFL seasons, Nicks has found a way to injure most of his lower body. He has been listed on the injury report with leg, hamstring, knee, ankle, foot, and toe issues. He has never played a full slate of games. He is currently recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery to fix an injury that he suffered in Week 2 last season. So, yes, he feels good. In April.
There's little doubt that Nicks can be a WR1 if he can play 16 games. I'm risk-averse in the early rounds of my draft, so Nicks has never been on my teams. But if there is a good thing about Nicks' past, it's that it has scared lots of owners away, and his draft stock has fallen. In a deep WR class, Nicks could be a big steal if he can ever answer that one big "if" surrounding him.

I can't believe how low Nicks stock has dropped due to scourned fantasy players. Hopefully he will stay in the shadows all off-season. I'd love to pick him up on the cheap as a WR3
