It sounds like the Bills are going to take a QB in the first round

Every NFL draftnik pretty much agrees that this year's pool isn't deep with quality talent at quarterback. Of course, when you are the Buffalo Bills, who are currently carrying Kevin Kolb @KevinKolb_4, Tarvaris Jackson @7tjackson and Aaron Corp, this draft class must look plenty attractive. At least, it does in the eyes of Bills general manager Buddy Nix. The Bills have the eighth pick in next week's draft, and Nix doesn't think it would be a reach at all to take a quarterback there.
"This quarterback class is better than everybody thinks it is," Nix said Tuesday via The Buffalo News. "... Five or six of those guys -- maybe seven -- do a lot of things good and do them good enough to win. This is not a standard answer. I've said this from the start, that two or three of these guys will be franchise quarterbacks. I believe that."

Fantasy Analysis:

That's nice, Buddy. West Virginia's Geno Smith is expected to be the top QB selected, but I think spending a top-10 pick on him would still be a reach. However, the Bills are desperate, and these sound like the words of a desperate man trying to convince himself of something that is unlikely to be true. Nix is looking for his next franchise leader in this draft, and he is giving off vibes that he is going to strike early to obtain him.

I maybe posturing hoping that some other knuckle head team thinks so highly of the QBs in the drat that it will pay more than it should. During this time prior to every draft you have to cast dubious doubts on everything and anything a team says.
