The Browns are playing it safe with two of their more important offensive weapons. Running back Trent Richardson and tight end Jordan Cameron are injured, and both might be held out until June minicamp or later, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Richardson has a pulled shin muscle, and head coach Rob Chudzinski said he will sit out the rest of this month's practices and "may miss" that minicamp. Cameron has a groin injury, and Chudzinski said the team will be just as cautious with him.
No long-term concerns here. However, Richardson, who spent basically all of his rookie season battling different injuries, is hurt again, and it's only May. If anything, it's not the best omen. He is still a first-round fantasy running back, and Cameron is my man-crush of the year at tight end.
