DeMarco Murray is hurt. Of course he is. Murray missed the Cowboys' first session of organized team activities last week due to a hamstring injury. The Cowboys began their second session of OTAs today, and Murray was still on the sidelines. However, Murray said he is "feeling great" and is looking forward to doing some on-field work Wednesday.
Murray also said today that he plans to play in all 16 regular-season games. It would be a bigger story if he said he didn't expect that. The odds of it actually happening seem slim if for no other reason than history. This hamstring issue shouldn't affect Murray much longer, but it's another reminder that he always seems to have some sort of malady. Murray saw his 2011 season end early due to a broken ankle. He missed six games due to a sprained foot last year. However, he will remain the Cowboys' bell-cow runner this year. They want to make him an "elite" player. But make sure you pick up rookie handcuff RB Joseph Randle if you decide to pay for Murray.
