Packers QB Aaron Rodgers sets the bar high for WR Randall Cobb

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers can talk about how much he likes his new running game, but he will certainly be throwing a ton of passes again this season. Well, at least enough to get wide receiver Randall Cobb @rcobb18 into triple digits.
"I think Randall Cobb is a guy who could be a 100-plus-catch guy every year," Rodgers said via

Fantasy Analysis:

Later in the article linked below, Packers wide receivers coach Edgar Bennett talks about how Cobb can become a better player after his breakout 2012, and that last year was just a "starting point" for James Jones. Green Bay is going to need Cobb, Jones and Jordy Nelson to all step forward following the offseason departure of Greg Jennings and the retirement of Donald Driver.
For Cobb, specifically, 100 catches shouldn't be that difficult to attain. I have to imagine he will have a bigger role in the passing game this year, and he still caught 80 balls last season despite missing one week and having a couple of one-catch performances early on. It's realistic that Cobb could gain about 1,200 yards and score at least 10 touchdowns if he pulls in 100 passes. He could also tack on another 100 yards or more as a rusher, like he did last year. He's a WR1 with plenty of room to grow.
