Titans WR Justin Hunter 'needs to get his [butt] going'

Titans rookie wide receiver Justin Hunter @justinhunter_11 hasn't practiced since late May as he continues to work his way through a hamstring injury. Well, he's working, just not on the field. That fact has wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson irked.
"Justin needs to get his [butt] doing," Jefferson said Thursday via The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt. "Sometimes we have to fight through things. That's how I was taught by Bill Parcells. If it ain't broke, then I'm not hurt.
"I know injuries are a part of the game, but OTAs is where you really see the jump, and he corrects mistakes. It's definitely a setback."

Fantasy Analysis:

Yes, because the Titans want their second-round rookie to play at less than 100 percent and end up wasting his season because he didn't take enough time to rest a hamstring injury during organized team activities.
Granted, I don't know the nature of Hunter's injury, but hamstring strains usually take a couple of weeks to fully heal. Jefferson played 13 seasons in the league and didn't miss a game in all but three. Good for him, but others aren't so lucky. "If it ain't broke, then I'm not hurt" is a ridiculous statement. It's June. Hunter has a big task in front of him this summer, but Jefferson needs to take a couple of deep breaths and count to 10. Fortunately, head coach Mike Munchak had a more considerate take.
I'm not interested in Hunter for fantasy purposes. Having to learn a new league, new defenses, on a team learning a completely new offense with an inconsistent quarterback doesn't spell good things for rookie wide receivers.
