Colts WR LaVon Brazill suspended for 4 games

Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill @BrazillLaVon has been suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the regular season due to a violation of the league's substance-abuse policy. Brazill, a second-year player out of Ohio University, caught 11 passes for 186 yards and one touchdown last year. He was expected to begin the 2013 season as the Colts' No. 4 wide receiver behind Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton and Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Fantasy Analysis:

There is no word on what specific substance was abused. Brazill is a deep threat with some promise, but being without him for the first four games shouldn't be a major negative for Andrew Luck. Besides those three WRs listed above, he has a couple of pass-catching tight ends, Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen, and a running back who is useful as a receiver, Ahmad Bradshaw. Brazill will be eligible to take part in training camp and exhibition games. His suspension will end after the Colts play the Jaguars on Sept. 29.
